Abstract

The studies raise the problem of deficiency of selected mineral nutrients on the growth and leaf gas exchange in beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L. cv. ‘Borlotto rosso’). It has been shown that there is a positive correlation between the lack of nutrients and disorders in the proper growth and water relations in the leaves (water balance) as well as changes in the gas exchange (including CO2 assimilation and transpiration).
