Abstract
The survey was conducted during the 2008-2011 period in the experimental field of the Institute of Agriculture, Karnobat. The aim was to establish the productive capacity of oats varieties and perspective lines submitted for testing to the EAVTFISC (Executive Agency for Variety Testing Field Inspection and Seed Control). The data showed that the established varieties and candidate varieties have different productivity and specific reaction to environmental conditions. Kehlibar and Kt 7005 varieties demonstrated the highest productivity. The yield of the Kehlibar variety correlated directly to the weight of the grain in a panicle and the 1 000-grain weight. The yield of Kt 7005 depended on the number and weight of grains per panicle.
