Abstract
The paper is a monitoring study of the market of agricultural goods in Ukraine over the last 20 years. A substantial drop in agricultural gross production, plant-growing and stock-breeding has been reported. But at the same time after 2000, a trend towards the improvement of the situation in the agrarian sector was noticed, but it was mainly due to the economy of the households.
