1. Peculiarities of some Apple Rootstocks in Connection with the Creation of Intensive Orchard Plantations (Literature Review)

The fast coming of the fundamental sciences into agricultural practice had an effect on fruit growing as well. The introduction of clonal rootstocks in the production of apple trees became a turning point in its development through the creation of intensive orchard plantations. For this reason, we consider it necessary to offer summarized information about both long-time introduced and newly bred vegetative apple rootstocks, based on international and domestic investigations.
